rage 24 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 (edited) Tsn.ca Link CKNW radio in Vancouver is reporting that the Canucks have lost defenceman Lukas Krajicek for the remainder of the season. The radio station says he will have season-ending surgery on his shoulder this week in Vancouver. ''He's very disappointed,'' Krajicek's agent Peter Svoboda told CKNW. ''Hopefully it's not as serious as the doctor thinks.'' Krajicek injured the shoulder when he was checked by Keith Tkachuk in a game against the St. Louis Blues on January 23. He suffered a similar injury to the same shoulder four years ago and needed to go under the knife at that point. ''He had a problem with that shoulder four years ago,'' said Svoboda. ''I guess they have to go in to find out how serious it is.'' The Prostejov, Czech Republic, native was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 1st round (24th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. In 39 games played this season, Krajicek has two goals and nine assists with a minus- 3 rating. Edited February 19, 2008 by rage
