Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 (edited) After 2 games, one a complete blowout (thank you Mule!) I see only one area where the Wings need improvement. When the Avs have the puck in our zone and our players are stationary. If the Avs are moving the puck around the Wings are doing a good job keeping with them, it's when they are standing still (near the boards or behind the net) and looking for a bang-bang play. The Wings are not doing a good job of clogging the passing lanes in 5 on 5 situations in their own zone. The Avs have had far too many cross ice passes that get tipped or one-timed right in front of Oz, and behind the net plays are even more worrying. The D is letting the Avs forwards cruise into the crease with too much ease (See Lappy goal, Lebda was just along for the ride). Other than that, the Wings are absolutely DOMINANT in all areas. Mule is a legitimate power forward, Oz has been his usual steady, well positioned self, the HaZarD line creates a lot of opportunities, and the 3rd and 4th lines are contributing energy AND goals. GOOD JOB WINGS!!! Edited April 26, 2008 by Wings_Dynasty
