General Ticket Broker Question for Wings Fans

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Quick question for you guys, do you think ticket brokers are bad for the NHL and especially the Wings? If you go onto ticketmaster, the majority of tickets are sold for game 1 which on the surface looks great, but then if you go to sites like stubhub and dailystubs.com (have you ever heard of dailystubs.com?) they have hundreds of tickets available. My concern is that people don't know about a site like dailystubs and those seats may remain empty because of it and Wings fans fanhoods are questioned again.

Now, I hate this subject, I loathe it, but there's no escaping it.

I think it hurts in a sense that if the ticket prices aren't high enough for this economy already; somtimes on sites like StubHub you'll see the ticket prices bumped up another 25% or more over face value.

The brokers have to buy the tickets before reselling them, so it wont hurt the wings or sellout etc.

You should be able to pick tix up pretty cheap after the game starts. So just go in a little late.
