RedArmy 4 Report post Posted May 22, 2008 thats kind of funny that 10 years ago wings were the most popular team amongst russian fans of NHL because of the Russian 5. wings are still very popular because fans got stuck with it like I did, couldn't get off the bandwagon when all the original players were gone especially feds Datsyuk though is just is popular as Ovechkin being the MVP of the Russian Elite league during the lock out

hak 21 Report post Posted May 22, 2008 Almost all of the games starts at 2AM over here. I start work at 7Am so usually when it's game day I go to sleep after dinner - sleep til' 2AM - watch the game until it's over about 4:30 AM - sleep 1.5 hours - go to work It's a pretty lengthy procedure! But it's most often worth it .. especially now in the playoffs.
Wingman 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2008 (edited) Almost all of the games starts at 2AM over here. Wow hak, this is exactly the way I do it. Early nap, watch the game while praying to the Gods (we're still polytheistic here ya know ) that the sopcast-stream will stay up (and be of a bitrate a least high enough for the player jersey numbers to be distuingishable). Then relax for a while to let the heartbeat resume a normal rate, and sleep another 2 hours before the lectures start. The term is in its ending weeks (engineering physics) and I'm having all kinds of exams and assignments right now so I'm not sure all this is a good idea at all. But hey, hockey playoffs is the best sports experience there is. With or without swedes! I guess this is my first post with any meaning at all so; hey everyone! This board is just wonderful. Go wings! Edited May 22, 2008 by Wingman
