Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 (edited) Mike Green, Dion Phaneuf, Scott Niedermayer, Sergei Gonchar, Chris Pronger, Zdeno Chara, and even Rafalski can all be possibilities to be leading point getters... But it's undisputable to predict Lidstrom as the favourite. You forgot Kronwall, and I am not even joking. Edited July 7, 2008 by Majsheppard
Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 I say he hits in at 73 games. I say the same. He will hit it between 70 and 75 games. We haven't really discussed the possiblity of Lids playing a low amount of games in his career because of the absurd amount of Defensemen we have. Obviously you want your best player on the ice, but he is also the oldest regular starter on the Defense. Odds are he will get alot of rest at regular intervals. I don't know how many games that will be, but I would guess 10 or so throughout the year heavy on the back end. That may hurt his point totals. Only Babcock and God really knows, I know Holland wont share.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Why would lidström rest during the season when he has missed a total of 26games in his entire career (5-6games last season?)
