So instead of shooting pucks, players will be shooting rubber pellets at each other and at coaches during a police training exercise. ... It's unusual that Babcock would cancel the practice, considering they also won't skate on Friday and Monday, due to the schedule. "We're just changing it up. It's Ground Hog Day, let's not do the same thing all the time,'' Babcock said. "Those 30 minutes we were going to be on the ice (today), are we going to get more out of doing something else, or more out of doing that?
