Phazon 24 Report post Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) Looking at the replay, Hiller never shown he had possesion of the puck. Not even close. 99 times out of 100, that is a goal everywhere in the hockey world. So the refs should blow the whistle as soon as the puck touches the goalie now? Guest Shoreline Report post Posted May 6, 2009 I doubt the refs would ever blow the whistle over something so silly as losing sight of the puck, either. Since a goalie must show possession and all.
XxGoWingsxX 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2009 the point is, the second it went out of his sight he INTENDED to whistle. Hiller was still moving around trying to find it. It was apparent he wasn't holding it because of the way he was flailing. I dunno about you but If iw as a goalie, and I had the puck in posession, i'd pull it close and sit still.....not kick my arms and legs all over wildly and accidentally push the puck in if u knew where it was.
