The Shorty Awards honor the best people and organizations on Twitter across 27 official categories and thousands of community-created ones. Online voting open to all members of Twitter culminates in an awards ceremony to recognize the winners. Currently the Wings are in 6th place behind the Blackhawks. It would just be nice for the folks of the Wings new media dept to get a lil something for the good work that they do.
