I don't think that is the case as he is tucked away in Grand Rapids... Does this mean he has a one-way deal and cleared waivers? Does this mean he is contributing to our salary cap problems? There has been alot of talk of what we need to do to get cap ready for Franzen and Lilja... would moving Newbury help? I am just very confused by Newbury being on the cap hit... Guest Howard He Do It?! Report post Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) The hockey buzz cap listings are notoriously wrong. Cap Geek has Newbury listed as a non-roster player with a two-way contract.
