Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted March 10, 2010 Everyone keeps making separate topics about how our guys we lost are doing so good...it was to be expected. The guys that played key roles for the Wings go to other teams and get more ice time and produce accordingly. Drake predicted the offense we would lose, and now everyone is surprised when the Wings are on the brink of missing the playoffs for the first time since Stevie Y couldn't even grow a playoff beard! Hossa - 41 games, 38 pts Kopecky - 62 games, 12 points (lol) Sammy - 66 games, 47 points Hudler - 54 games, 54 points total = 151 points (year to date) replaced with: bertuzzi - 66 games, 37 points eaves - 52 games, 17 points miller - 64 games, 16 points williams - 28 games, 11 points total = 78 points (year to date) not sure if i missed anyone the wings lost, but the 73 less points the Wings have this year with the replacements, but that's the difference between coasting into the playoffs and fighting to make them. unless lids takes a hefty paycut for use of signing another potential top 4 defenseman and top 6 forward, don't be surprised to see our Wings in the same position next season. Should we expect the same amount of injuries next season aswell? And I know it's not important but Hudlers points are coming from the KHL.
