Wideman for Horton is a pretty even salary swap, the B's without a doubt got the better skill in the deal. Opie 308 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 I agree Wheeler is not what the Wings need, just stating that the move of Wideman makes him available and basically makes Boychuk a B for a while, he could develop into a top tier defensive D-man, he played great in the post season for them with Chara. Agreed.... the fact that they moved Wideman pretty much assured that Boychuk wasn't going anywhere... Wheeler could be a real good pickup for someone and it will be interesting to see where he lands... I HIGHLY doubt he'll still be in Boston with the trade of Horton, as someone will probably sign him to some crazy offer sheet that the Bruins won't be able to match...
