The Detroit Red Wings' summer "strength and conditioning" prospect camp begins this morning at Joe Louis Arena. Red Wings assistant GM Jim Nill spoke to the Free Press's Helene St. James about the importance of both welcoming 2010 draft picks into the organization by teaching them the "Red Wings' way" of approaching the game, on and off the ice, and the necessity of gauging the improvement of the Wings' prospect core.

The Detroit News streamed it live today on their website. I watched it for about a hour. Only ones I could pick out was Marshall #4, one of Chelly's kids and I think it was Sheahan wearing #50..... The camera was too far away to pick up the names on the jerseys. Would have been a lot more interesting if you could tell which player you were watching.
