Octopus's Garden 147 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 Kind of surprising. Seems like a good, young player could be had for fairly cheap. Link
F2B&G 15 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) Pretty painful to get the boot from your hometown club, especially after he competed harder than many of the team's higher-paid players in the first round of the playoffs. He could develop into a solid third liner, and someone will pick him up. Edited August 3, 2010 by F2B&G

swedishconnection 36 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 Kennedy over Modano? anyone? lol I would totally take that. Why not have 3 players from the State national championship team on one line? I'm all about it!
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 He seemed like a solid prospect..Maybe the Sabres found someone more promising in free agency? Who's gonna take his place?
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 I'd jump all over that. There were some very real attitude/interpersonal issues between him and the team (and I have no clue who's at fault) for this situation to go down like this. You don't waive a kid who put 26pts up as a rookie without some real issues behind the scenes.
