syntax 359 Report post Posted March 4, 2011 (edited) I wanted to toss an announcement out to everyone about multiple Star Wars nights coming up for local hockey teams. The Grand Rapids Griffins [Griffins] Star Wars night that is coming up this Saturday night, March the 5th. The benefiting charity is "The Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation". The Kalamazoo Wings K-Wings Star Wars night is coming up this Sunday afternoon, March the 6th. The benefiting charity is "The Salvation Army". The Port Huron Fighting Falcons FF is coming up on March the 12th. The benefiting charity is "The Humane Society of Michigan." The 501st Legion [Here], a Star Wars costuming charity that I am a member of, will be attending to raise money for the listed charities. We will have Event patches and other Star Wars goodies for sale, and there will be lots of photo ops for kids of all ages. We'd love to see everyone that can make it out to support these local hockey teams and these great charities! Special thanks to Matt of LGW for allowing me to post this message. I went to the one in Muskegon, it was a fun time! Yes, we had a great time in Muskegon. Glad you made it out. UGH! I wish I could go to one of these sometime.
