Marty Barry 230 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 I remember how excited everybody was down here in columbutt when he came over. They had just gone through the Nikolai Zherdev situation and Filatov was saying all the right things to the press about coming to the NHL and columbutt. CBJ has a terrible record of pissing away 1st round talent by rushing them in to the NHL. Then, they get frustrated and trade them away for established players who don't want to play here. Then, they have to trade them away. Something is horribly wrong in this organization. There are only 2 things that have not changed over the years - Nash and the arena. I guess we'll see what the problem is when Nash is traded. As far as Filatov, I would have taken a chance on him at the right price, look at how all the former Jackets are doing on their new teams. It seems that every playoff game you see one in the highlights.
