Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 Mursak Jan Mursak got out of his cast Monday and into walking boot as he recovers from a fractured ankle he suffered in the preseason.“It's a little stiff and a little sensitive,” Mursak said. “Hopefully the recovery goes fast. They took an x-ray after I took the cast off and they saw it was healing real good.” Mursak said it’ll be at least six weeks before he can get back to skating. “At least I can walk normally now, without the crutches,” Mursak said. “I have to take it easy and walk kind of slowly. I don't want to do anything to make it worse.” Can't wait to have this kid back. I figure he'll be sent to GR for a conditioning stint around mid December, and then will probably be up with the big boys in early January.
