    cmon pavel... its game time...

I think a sweep would be reaching a little high. While Detroit has their talented offence, the Ducks have their D that can match that offence (when they don't have mental breakdowns like Game 4 ). If the Wings were all healthy, and all the lines were rolling, then I'd say Wings in 5. But with how the series has gone so far, I'll be surprised if this series doesn't go to 7 games.

    Got Attacked at Game 3

If that kind of thing happened, then yes it would be worth it to sue. Unless anyone is seriously (i.e. permanently) injured in a fight, then good luck.

California, doesn't it say that right over there <------? If someone wants to try and sue for a couple bruises and a broken finger, then be my guest. Let me know how it goes.

WCSF GAME 4 GDT: Red Wings 6 at Ducks 3

Agreed. And these are definitely not the 2007 Ducks.

WCSF GAME 4 GDT: Red Wings 6 at Ducks 3

I disagree (with half). I think the Wings played an awesome game, their best of the series no doubt. They really stepped it up. But the Ducks last night were awful. Hiller was exhausted, so was our top line. Bobby is hurt. Our second line just plain sucks. Teemu needs to retire, he's definitely not the same and isn't worth it out there because most of the time he is a liability, not an asset. And it seemed like every player had about 25 turnovers, and on every shot the team left Hiller out to dry. I'm not trying to take away from the Wings credit, but yes the Ducks were that bad.

    Getzlaf

I'm not going to try and sway you from liking any Ducks players. What do you think of that Corey Perry? (This was a joke, please don't throw stones at me... Although that one is my favorite player )

    Got Attacked at Game 3

They print that on every ticket (season, box office, ticketmaster). Any venue for sporting events, concerts, etc. make it damn near impossible to sue these days. Unless anyone is seriously (most likely permanently injured) then I don't think anyone would be able to get away with pulling it off.

It'd be pretty difficult to actually pull it off though, especially with this on the back of every ticket:

    Getzlaf

He's definitely an amazing player, but his laziness (and face-offs ugh) is unpredictable. Right now, yeah I bet he is exhausted from playing so many minutes. Even during the regular season though, the Ducks would have 2 or 3 days off, and he would do the same things as if it was a back to back on the road. He just annoys me. I wouldn't want him on any other team though. It's a love-hate relationship.

    Getzlaf

I hope Carlyle benched him. Getzlaf has been great in the playoffs so far, but man does he have his lazy moments. He can't skate to save his life, he's overweight, and if wasn't so big he'd get layed out every game for always skating up the ice with his head down.

2009 Round 2 Photoshop War: Anaheim Ducks

Most of these are all pretty funny ones. Except the Disney ones, those are just stupid. Definitely my favorite.

    Ovechkin's hit on Gonchar

Am I the only one who thinks Ovechkin is annoying, and completely one dimensional? All venting aside though, that hit isn't suspension worthy at all. He definitely didn't intentionally try for knee on knee, he just didn't try to prevent it either. So unfortunate for the Pens, this is really going to affect them if he's out for a while.

    Got Attacked at Game 3

I posted this in the "Ducks Fans..." thread, but I figured I should post it here as well. Especially because I think the OP is owed an apology. As a season ticket holder and a die-hard Ducks fan, I would to apologize to ANY fan of the opposing team that gets attacked at Honda Center. It is disgusting and it shouldn't happen, no matter what team is playing, and what the outcome is. As this is a Wings message board, I'm sure there aren't threads about Ducks fans venting about bad encounters with Wings fans, but it goes both way. Take a look on the Ducks message boards, because Red Wings fans aren't innocent angels (I am not trying to justify any bad behavior like I've been reading about on here). I'm a trash-talker at the games, and I'm sure I use my share of profanity. Although, I would never physically attack another fan of any team (which is hard for me because I have an awful temper), which might not be surprising because I am a 17 year old girl, I might be tough and could hold my own for a couple seconds but I'd get my butt handed to me. If I had seen any of these acts occur, being a Wings fan or especially a Ducks fan being the instigator, I would have said something and called security. It's a shame that these things happen, and it labels ALL of Anaheim's fans as classless and dirty (Sounds like our team eh? wink.gif ). But one thing I'm sure you all know is that every team has fans like that, even the Red Wings. I've been to games in L.A., San Jose, and even Phoenix where I have gotten profanities screamed at me by grown men (I have thick skin, so it doesn't bother me especially because I don't keep my mouth shut). I've seen fights go down, cars damaged, out of control drunk people at many different games from many different fans. Unfortunately, that's what happens. Most of the time those people aren't "fans", just bandwagoners or people looking for a drink and a good time. Again, I am NOT trying to justify any violent behavior from Ducks fans, I just think that maybe some of you are a little emotional about it because it is the post season, and let's face it, the Anaheim vs. Detroit rivalry has gotten pretty ugly. If any of you attend game 6 at the Pond and experience some nasty Ducks fans, come on up to section 425, and let me know. I'll take care of them. wink.gif I want all visiting fans to enjoy the Honda Center atmosphere and be able to cheer for their team without having beers chucked at you (wishful thinking). Again, sorry for all these bad encounters. It's disgusting to see, as a Ducks fan, and as a hockey fan in general.
