    Chicago Blackhawks

To say the Hawks arent contenders is a bit silly. Anyone who considers the Wings contenders (as I do) cant honestly say the Hawks arent. You can argue whether they are the favorites, but they are definitely one of the favorites, whether you want to admit it or not.

    12/30 GDT : Red Wings 2 at Blackhawks 3

Its obvious that the Wings arent going to be able to catch the Hawks this season, they are just the better team. Hopefully we meet in the playoffs, great game last night.

Most people here said we wouldnt make it, and laughed at me for sayin so. Thats why I can gloat a little. Yes, they did back in, but that doesnt change the fact that all teams have went back to zero. We have owned both the Sharks and Canucks the past two years in the playoffs, and have gotten the best of the Wings this season by going 4-2 against them. I like our chances.

lololololol Cant believe how much some of you cry. I guess the last 20 straight years of the Wings makin the playoffs they never got any luck or had a few calls go their way, huh? Give me a break.

This is true, you did win a cloee hard faught game. It was your first in the last 5 games against the Hawks, so I like our chances if we happen to meet the Wings in the playoffs.

Well, you guys did everything you could to keep us out of the playoffs, and it almost worked, one hell of a game. However, as I predicted and stuck with all season, we made the playoffs

    Unbelievably bad goal.

Good post. It was a questionable call, no doubt. And we may have gotten a break, but you people with your conspiracy theories are hilarious. It was one goal that made it 2-1. It wasnt the goal to win it, it was still 3-3 in overtime, but you think the refs GAVE us this game, and did this so we make the playoffs? What a joke. The call on the ice was a goal, and there was not one replay that showed conclusivly that the puck didnt go in the net, so they couldnt overturn it. I did think they were going to disallow it because of the kicking motion, but maybe they seen somthing I didnt IE someone else hitting it, it was hard to tell.

    Let's Talk About the Refereeing

Im not saying it wasnt a weak call, but it was the right call, even Zetterberg said he agreed with the call.

3/28 GDT: Blackhawks 3 at Red Wings 2 (OT)

great win, we needed those two points BAD.

    Boston Vs. Habs

Not one Hawk fan was complaining about it, just Doc and a couple other Wings fans, because they couldnt be grown up enough to just stay out of it, they had to ***** and moan like babies until one of the mods just deleted it (which was stupid). There was just one thread talking about the Hawks, and it was pretty active, there was no reason to delete that thread.

Im definitely cheering the Wings on tonight. A Los Angeles loss helps the Hawks more haha

    Chicago fans last night

What you say is true for the most part, but I think there is a gray area in this. If people do what you say, then yes, they are a bandwagoner. However, fans that have "more" interest when the team is doing realy well, and less when they are sucking ass, isnt neccessarly a bandwagoner IMO. This goes back to how I was taking about putting a good product on th Ice. I hve always kept up with the Hawks ever since I became a fan in 1995, but I would be lying if I said my intrest was really high during their aweful years. I would still watch them when I could, and keep up with any news about them, but I certainly didnt invest as much time and money as I do when they actually got their s*** together. I dont live in Chicago, so I didnt waste much time traveling from North Carolina to watch a terrible team. I went when I could, but it wasnt a top priority. Now, I have seen them play 12 times in the past three years. I just dont believe in 100% support if the front office fails to put a good team on the Ice. If they dont care, why should we as fans? If you support a s***ty front office, then why would they even need to change anything? Lack of support shows them they need to do somthing, we arent happy. So while I am sure Chicago has a TON of bandwagon fans, I think some really good true fans get lumped with them because they refused to support a very bad team/front office. Its not that we ever stop being fans, we just go sick of year after year putting a very bad team on the Ice.
