Why all the hate for Babcock?

He's fine, but to call him great is a stretch.

Season Ticket Prices to remain the same

Gave them up 1 and a half years ago and I don't miss them a bit. Bought centerice and all is good.

    Lewis Out in Boston

Well, they will always be an original six team. It would be nice if they had more than that going for them. Mickey Mouse.

    Lewis Out in Boston

Boston is a joke. They are worse than an expansion franchise for cryin out loud. What is this, the 9th coach in 10 years? Way to build a team. Hope they continue their fall to the bottom of the league. Idiots.

Pronger at it again: elbow to McAmmond's head

I'm not surprised it was only one game but it should have been the series. Apparently you must either kill the guy, or at a minumum, break his neck before the league gets serious. Pronger has been head hunting this playoff season. It's the second time in only two series and again they give him a slap on the wrist. One of these days he is going to kill someone with his dirty play, and that is what it was, dirty play. He is acting like a punk. For a guy who is supposed to be such a great talent, he sure likes acting like a forth line goon trying to hang on.

Pronger at it again: elbow to McAmmond's head

Should have been the series. He is a head hunter and someday I hope he gets what he actually deserves.

    Fans where are you

This is too funny. The Wings have been sold out for years. This is the very first time we have not been sold out and now we have fans of the Ducks giving us grief. LOL. How many banners hang from your ceiling? The Wings sell out stadiums THROUGHOUT the league. The reason there are seats is the corporate season ticket holders passed on the big bill this year. I had season tickets for 12 years. We let them go last year. I have been there, done that. Was there for a Cup win. I have plenty of choices. Pistons. Tigers. Whalers. Wings. After awhile, common sense kicks in. Is one night in the Joe worth a grand? Not to me. The Ducks are giving us grief??? Good Lord. Now we have to listen to quacking.

Noise noticably absent at the Joe

There are several reasons. First, the fans paid WAY to much to get in the building. Then they are forced to wait in LONG lines for food, beer, or god forbid, use the bathroom. Then, after the cheesy intro, they do NOTHING to create an exciting environment at the Joe. It feels just like any other game you attend throughout the year. If they are feeling really generous, they might give yo a towel that some sponsor paid for. Face it. They do NOTHING to make it feel special. They simply do everything they can to seperate your money from your wallet. After awhile, that gets old.

Salary Cap = Lower ticket prices

Well, I let mine go last year and I don't miss it a bit.

    Season Tickets

I had them for about 12 years. Gave them up last year after the strike, Joe Bucks and firing Lewis. Enough was enough. And know what? I don't miss it. THe Joe is a dump, the food sucks and I hate standing in lines to take a leak. Did I say lines. I meant LONG lines.

    Playoff Ticket Prices

We had tickets for about 15 years before we gave them up mid way through last season. To tell you the truth, I don't miss it a bit. Grew tired of standing in long lines to pay outrageous amounts of money for crappy food and bad beer. I still watch though, I just do it on the big screen I bought with my playoff money :-) I can't beleive you guys have problems finding tickets. It used to be that way before the lockout. After, we couldn't give the tickets away. I have a feeling a lot of season ticket holders will pass on buying the playoff tickets this year. I know that at least two families on my son's hockey team say this is the last year they buy tickets.
