I was browsing through the GDT for Game 2 on the Sharks Forum and stumbled accross a post that took me a second to figure out, but when I realized he wasn't talking about what was happening in the game, I got pretty steamed about it. I'm not sure if this deserves its own topic but............ I just cannot believe that ANY hockey fan would still be willing to condone what Mclennan did. I can only hope that this person only typed this in the heat of the game and didn't really mean it.

I was actually watching the game on CBS Sportsline and the "glog" (game log) they have, while I was at work. It's pretty good. I like how it marks where shots were taken from and where the goalie was shot at.

I have to agree with this comment. Except maybe the space part! The Wings have shown that they can win when needed in arguably the most imposing building in the League. I feel they can win at least one or both in the Shark Tank,

I am assuming that you are kidding due to the rolling eyes! Anyone who decides to panic if the Wings lose tonight needs to remember that the Wings lost the first two at home against Vancouver in 2002. They won the next four.

I don't think the game will progress as Game 1 did. The Wings now know that the Sharks are not to be taken lightly, and will proceed as such. I think we will see the Wings come out with a lot more jump and score first. I am not going to make a score prediction this time but I think we will see the Wings even the series tonight. If the Wings play the game their way Sharks won't be too happy. The only bad thing about this game is that I will be at work this afternoon and therefore will not be able to watch it live. It will be at home recording and I will catch it on quite a bit of a delay probably after my Wife falls asleep tonight and I have total control over the TV! GO WINGS!!!

Neither team played well. It was such an unexciting game.

That really was a pretty pitiful playoff game. The Sharks outplayed the First Period, then the Wings realized that the Game had actually started. They just could never reach the level they needed to be. Sharks clogged up all the passing and shooting lanes. I just hope that neither Wings Fans or Sharks Fans are trying to predict anything from this game. It was just ugly. I hope the Wings will bring it in Game 2!!

I think he should go throw a plush octopus at a Wings game and watch people laugh him out of the arena!!!

The thing about the Wings defense is that the skill they have pretty much keeps the big guys from being able to get close enough to them to actually hit. Just go back and watch the Calgary series. Iginla, Dion, etc., and the rest of that happy band of goons couldn't get close enough to make clean hits so they just played dirty.
