Again, just in for the Intermission......... The Wings looked a little better that period! They skated with a little more determination, they played more physically. I think we are in a good position. Just bring the intensity back for the third, and hopefuly we can pull out a win! Just keep Lids on Iginla, and keep putting Bert out there to land his hits.

I am having to steal in during intermissions..... Wings need more intensity. Need to come out and jump on the Flames in the second. They have held on this far. Just kick it up a notch!

Anyone have any more definite news on Bertuzzi? Or are they truly waiting till Game Time? Welcome to the Boards, but I have to respectively disagree. I don't think adding Bert would be viewed as a "fix" of the Wings current lineup, but more of an "upgrade". Sammy needs to sit and put Bert in his place. Sammy hasn't done much in this series so far, and replacing him with Bert would up our chances. I know Bert hasn't played too many games in the Red and White, but he has played smart physical hockey. So - Sit Sammy, Play Bert!!!

The first 10 minutes of this game will decide it. If the Wings can come out with the same intensity that they have shown in the first two games, then they will own the Flames. If not, the Saddledome will get the best of them. I think they are going in well, and I think we will see a 2-1 Wings Visctory.

Sit Sammy - Play Bert!!!

Kipper has played great. Yes, the Wings took ALOT of shots from the perimiter, but they also did ALOT of great passing and shooting that Kipper has been able to keep a lid on. He truly is the only reason the Flames aren't buried under goals now. That said, I hope he remains the only good thing on the Flames team right now, and that the Wings continue to dominate!!!

When my wife and I started dating, she decided she wanted to watch hockey - but didn't want to be a Wings fan just because I was. That was the 2004 playoffs and we were watching them when we took a trip to Orlando, FL. She loved watching the Flames play. She loved their jerseys, and she LOVED Kipper. So, I got her a Flames Jersey last Christmas, and here she is cheering for them! But my Wife did inform me that she hasn't accepted my before-mentioned deal, yet. She said this morning, "Stop it. Don't push me!" But I think she will come around!!

My wife is a Flames fan. We made a deal this morning, that whichever of the teams beats the other, we will both root for it. I just really hope that she will be cheering on the Wings next week! But if I have to cheer for the Flames - Good on you guys! :)

I think the Wings will win, but it will be much closer. The Wings won't walk away with just one goal against I think.

Now the NBC guys are talking about how great Kipper is. Good thing they jumped over to talking about The Wings not letting shots through to Hasek. Brett Hull: "The Calgary Flames are marginalizing Jarome Iginla the way they are playing." One of the first things I have like that Brett has said today.

Hull doesn't know what to say!! Its kinda funny! The NBC guys don't want to talk about how good the Wings played. They just want to talk about how shocked they are that the Flames didn't play as well. Talking to Hank on NBC. I love having him back! He and Dats have been great!
