Dats looks great. Kipper seems to be coming out pretty far. I shouldn't be too long before the Wings take advatage of that.

I guess it is for the better though. If the Wings sat with a 2-0 lead too long, then they would slow down. they need to keep the strength they skated with in the first.

My Dad was in the Air Force, so we ended up moving all over the place. My mom's brother lived in Detroit (Grosse Pointe), so the one place that we always went back to was Detroit. I went to a number of games at The Joe with my Uncle (a devout Red Wings Fan), and fell in love with them because of that. Been a fan ever since!!!

I think it was a great win by the Wings. My 3 stars: #1 - Pavel Datsyuk for getting that monkey off his back! #2 - Dominik Hasek for some great goaltending! #3 - All the Defensive lines for keeping the puck in the zone so well during the PP's. Runner-up: As much as I hate to say this, my runner-up is Kipper. If it wasn't for him, the Flames would have lost by so many more goals! Too bad..... Hank looked great coming back as well. Didn't seem to miss a beat. Was great to see him back. If we can get Bert back in Game 2, I think it will give us another little kick-in-the-butt and put us over the top in that game as well! Well - GO WINGS GO!!!! Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
