I am really excited for the Caps!!! Their head coach is the same guy that led the ECHL team from where I used to live to the championship a number of years ago. Hats off to Bruce, Alex, and the rest of the Caps!!

Good point. I will have to keep an eye on that game. Would love to see Phoenix knock them down tonight. Then maybe the Wings can try and take it a little slower for the next week going into the playoffs.

I grew up in both Mississippi and Alabama, and visited Detroit quite often to see relatives and my Uncle instilled me with a very healthy love for all things Red Wings. Now that I have said this, I am truly disgusted with the amount of fair weather fans on this site. Ken Holland is the GM of a National Hockey League Team. Are you? Do you know all that was said on phone calls between GM's before the trade deadline? Are you Mike Babcock, or Nick Lidstrom, who know who BEST fits with the team in all aspects? You want Sergei Fedorov to play for the Wings? Maybe Holland, Babcock, and Lidstrom, thought that Fedorov wasn't a good pick for this current team. Have you ever stopped to think that the fans of the Detroit Red Wings might NOT be all knowing? Trust Ken Holland. It is his job. If you think you can do it better, let Mike Ilitch know. If you want Sergei Fedorov to play for the team you support, then go cheer for the Caps. (I just want to lay out that Sergei Fedorov is one of my favorite Wings ever. I love him and all he did when he was a Wing.)
