No. Michigan is bad enough. Why would you wish one of those other crappy states on us? Glad to see reasonable opposing fans here, welcome! A lot of the 'expert' picks are for us to go down to the Sharks......we get to play underdog even with the top seed apparently. I think it will be a great series.....skill, style, poise.....REAL hockey. I look forward to the Wings squeeking it out in 7. Just be sure that the games in Cali stop at the end of regulation....staying up until 1 on a work night just kills me!

I was perusing Hockey news, and saw that Slava Kozlov is an unrestricted free agent after this season. My initial reaction was: Sweet! Bring him in our 4th line, retire him as a RedWing! Then I looked at our roster. While the nastalgia factor would be great, I just couldn't justify taking the spot from any of these guys: Zetterberg, Bertuzzi, Calder, Holmstrom, Filppula, Kopecky After looking at the roster, it seems fairly deep with the exception of Right Wing....had never really looked at the entire picture, and I really like it. I guess I'll have to be content with old Hockeytown videos

Some people just can't resist being a downer. I avoid those people IRL. Best of 3 series now, and we still have home advantage. I like our chances, and look forward to this weekends game. I'll be screaming load enough at home for them to hear me at the Joe

Holy crap most of you are reactionary. It's as if we just went down 3-1 and must win the next game on the road. Did you have heart attacks in previous years when we had to win the last two games to advance? I though Wings fans were smarter that this. Some people should lay off the caffine, speed, or mescaline, are whatever else has you unreasonably excited.

It's the end of the world as we know it....and I feel fine! I expected Calgary to come out an play hard, and at least take the first of their home games. I didn't expect Nick to get beat like he did, but s*** happens sometimes, and we move on. Even with some dicey calls and some bad play, we were in the game. Go Wings!

To this day, my wife knows hockey better than I do......she already has plans to name our future son Brenden I'm a nut, but she's just hardcore. I wouldn't count the Flames out yet.....the next two games are in Calgary, and they are hard to beat on their home ice. If we steal a game there, I'll be a happy camper.

LOL...I told my Wife and her Parents that the Hull comments on Dats were completely foolish, but they looked at me as if I were crazy! I'm going to have fun rubbing this one in...thanks to LGW I like it...we obviously expect him to be the Franchise Guy for some time....the contract may be big, but if he didn't get it from us, he'd have gotten it somewhere else. I have faith in Holland!

Just had to comment on this one......Both my wife and I cared. I still have my Larionov jersey (always loved the Prof, great hockey smarts)...along with Kozlov and Fedorov. Yeah, the booing thing seems silly to me as well, but drunk fans will be drunk fans. I'll always have a soft spot for Sergei!
