Pronger's absence leaves a big hole in the defensive corps, and you really can't have a suitable replacement for a dman of that calibre. I say, have fun to the Ducks trying to fill the hole with Jackman/Huskins et al. Good luck with that. I've watched the Oilers try to fill the hole Pronger left too. Didn't work to well. Lol.

Glad to see that at least he GOT a suspension. Finally taking action against a big name player. Now the Wings can go on and win game 4 with ease... the last times that Pronger got injured (especialliy that long period when he was out with the foot injury) the Ducks pretty much sucked, so its time to take advantage of the situation!

well at least there's that one open practice the Wings have. the Oilers don't have anything like that.. the only thing that we get to see is the annual Superskills (but you still have to pay for that haha)... and the team autograph session but thats about it. most of the Oil are pretty nice though.. we usually wait around after games and most of them will sign. i wish we would have an open practice one day! but once we did sneak into the morning skate before the Ducks/Oil game back in november.. 'cause someone left the side door unlocked and we just went in hahaha

don't want to jinx anything so i'm gonna keep my mouth shut last year we did this prediction thing for the Oilers too... and well, we know how that turned out...

i love our Oilers goalhorn... *ducks to avoid punch* can't say the same for the music that gets played in Rexall though

personally i'd love to see a Wings/Sens final

Ryan Smyth is no doubt a heart and soul player. However, i don't believe he is worth what he would be asking (something in the 5.5 - 6 mill range.) Before he left us most of us agreed that the max we'd give him is 5.5. The Wings have a very similar player in Holmstrom so i don't think it's necessary to have Smyth on the team as well. No doubt his leadership/dedication would be a benefit but the Wings already have many capable leaders. Bertuzzi, for me, possesses the grit and presence that would intimidate the other teams. Otherwise, I don't really see much worth in Bertuzzi. So to answer the question, i would pick none of the above. And i'm not being biased or anything just 'cause Smyth ditched us in Feb or that we have history with Bert.

I'm all ready for the Wings to wrap up this series tonight. Winning it on their ice is the cherry on top of the cake.

Edmonton had its fair share of bandwagoners last season.. especially after we eliminated the Sharks in round 2. some people said that our city had the most bandwagoners but from what i'm seeing with other cities i definitely disagree.

i live in Edmonton, so i'm an Oiler fan first ALWAYS. when i was 8 (back in '96) my uncle (who is also an Oil & Wings fan) introduced me to Red Wings hockey and have been in love with them ever since.
