Consistency.. He did a great playoff game... now let's see if he is still somebody in the next ones

I watched the whole series against Nashville and really thought that it would have been much easier with a few powerplay goals... I think Game 4 would have been ours with usual old Wings PP production.. I believe this is a KSF of our series against Colorado. Against a hot goalie you need to score in PP if you want to secure easy victories and avoid getting into dangerous overtimes like in game 5. I am a bit scared about that... What did you think about Colorado special teams against Minny ?

huge improvement in the first avs game yes! much more speed and puck possession... I loved our PP2... it is finally stepping up with Franzen, Filpulla.. I am quite confident now that we won't be worried with the special teams

Anyone noticed the very poor hands of Bertuzzi ?? He is NO WAY the player he was in Vancouver He definitely stepped up (beginning of the playoffs he was playing like Lang) but he is still far from the first line clutch playoff guy than he was.. Also the guy is not really fast and does not fit with Detroit's game, i don't give a f. about his useless hits... I'd say keep him before the cap... But right now : do NOT resign this guy

Kronwall is far from a top 3 defenseman and Schneider has been replaced on the PP by Samuelsson who generates good scoring chances... So our depth is not really in question... That would be if we lose Lids or if we had some very poor 6 and 7 defensemen Also, one game without Pronger is a no-factor... The Wings deserved widely the last game anyway My opinion is that despite the loss, the Wings stepped up in game 4 and they will take these series

First post shows a lack of knowledge of the Red Wings. Schneider is not exactly the safest defenseman in the world, losing him does not mean for us having a worse defense... I was much more concerned about our special teams (we lack him at the blue point definitely) Detroit defense is as good as it gets... Lids is here half of the game, Cheli plays like a top 2 defenseman... And the other guys stepped up and don't do mistakes... IMO Robert Lang is definitely our biggest defensive liability, i wish he would be injured

Most of the ducks fans quoted are really understandable I was on LGW in 2003 for the Ducks series and the wings fans were saying similar arguments... Our goals were lucky and we were outplayed during the 2 first periods... Datsyuk line was great, but we had a lot of problems to generate danger with the 3 other lines... We were too defensive minded after our first goal and overall we were outshooted, which is extremely rare... I'm delighted we won, this means we won't live again 2003 cauchemar, but Wings definitely have to step up if they wanna win the series.

The Ducks have a playoff tailored team and can still win these series in 6... We were pretty bad with the lead in game 1, and dominated in periods 1 and 2. Ducks series will be even harder than SJ series (great team / better goaltender) Hope the coaches will have a chat together about that, because if the series get dirty injuries will be on both sides and even for the winner of these series that is not the best way to enter in the SCF

Dats is an outstanding player, definitely the franchise player of the next years... But I am sorry, the guy is living in the US for more than 5 years, and his english still sucks i think the guy is very shy and don't practice enough... Anybody would master english after 6 months in the states... Even french people let's give him a A in a few years, when he will get less shy... Now it's not the best gift you can offer him
