Yes we are really Hockeytown! Our fan base isn't limited to the city limits. Some of us aren't able to make the games but you can be sure that the Wings are on our TV's and for that 3 hours plus pre and post game coverage, Hockeytown is in our living room. Just to re-itterate, if you , for example decided Anaslime should be Hockeytown and you went say 5 miles past the hondo pondo and mention hockey, people would respond with ..."huh?" Hockeytown is in our hearts and no one can take that from us whether the Joe is packed or not!

I think as a player, if your name is not on it, you don't get to touch it. I, myself should be the only exception, yes, they should let me touch the cup.

I saw all the wing players step up and show how tough they are this last playoff. The wings are not soft. Pavel kicked azz, Kronwall, my god, he was a monster and sent people flying. I'd like to have Mac or Downey there if for nothing else, for the moral of the rest of the team. But for those who are saying the team is soft , obviously didn't watch the same team I did. Wasn't this thread about Huds, Haven't seen his name mentioned in awhile. I think Huds was awesome in the playoffs.

I think a lot of that will depend on which line he is on. I would venture to say it is a good bet, but a close one. It would at least be interesting to watch through the season.

not really, Almost anytime the was a scruf on the ice, he was right there getting involved. The second liner may be a bit of a stretch I admit but I think the rest is pretty accurate considering his size.

Hudler is a heart and soul player, He has to work harder because of his size and doesn't back down to anyone. He is a team player and isn't afraid to back up a team mate. He is steadily improving and if he keeps on this track will be a consistant 20 - 30 goals a year scorer. He's been under-rated but doesn't let that stop him from playing hard. He's a good solid 2nd liner in my opinion. Plus he was hilarious at the parade from what I hear and pics I've seen. Overall...B+

Anyone who is not a Red Wing fan would probably say the Wings are the most annoying because they are consistantly better than their team. It would annoy me.

I have to admit, I was a little excited when I heard he was coming to Detroit. At the time we needed more physical play. He didn't give it, he has mellowed, whether it be from injuries, Moore incident or whatever, he is not the same as he used to be. It didn't bother me to see him leave. I wish him luck in Calgary, but I wouldn't want him back here
