Well they were advertising that golf tournament, I bet hockey pales in comparison to the excitement you'll have watching that. Me...I'll watch hockey no matter what. I may not like seeing McCarty being tossed into the boards before he touches the puck or Lids getting high sticked in the face, both without a call. but it's hockey. Things like that are going to happen and some times they go your way, sometimes they don't. They whined and we still beat 'em. To me, that's good hockey. Good luck trying to find a sport with this much action that keeps you constantly on the edge of your seat. So go ahead and be done with hockey. There will always be plenty of new fans to replace you. Go Wings!!!

Once that one guy, can't remember his name, scored the first goal, I had the feeling that we weren't going win. We were outplayed last night. I didn't get mad at anyone tho. Mistakes/turnovers happen, we just didn't play up to par. I'm sure Babs will make the proper adjustments and in their arrogance, the Pens once again, won't see us coming. Wings in 5. I'm not even mad about the officiating, tho they should've called the high stick on Lids, but that's all part of the game.

When the interviewed Stuart in the first intermission, I looked at my wife and said " Do you think they'll ask Stuart if he wonders about how Crosby felt about him scoring?" Nothing against Crosby, 'cept the whining and stuff, but enough is enough. What's worse is that I fear the games on NBC will be even worse. Yes Crosby is a good hockey player, but our skaters have shut him down. Doesn't that make our players better than this media idol? Just sayin'

I think it's great they turned it around and that Sid is getting non-viewers interested in the sport. I wish all markets were able grow and build their fanbase. I will, however, defend Hockeytown till the end whether we are packing the Joe or not. Kudo's to Pittsburgh for turning their franchise around increasing national recognition for the sport of hockey. They're still going to lose the SCF tho
