Didn't Babcock say after the St. Louis game that there's no switch? It would be nice if there was, because if they are sandbagging it, they need to flip the switch soon.

Maybe the fans need to chant "Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie" at the beginning of the games to show him our support and give him more confidence. I think that would spark up the defence too. So those of you with tix to the playoffs...you have your mission. Seriously tho, I hope he's ready, I would like to see him win another cup and maybe lock a spot in the HOF

As much as I'd like to see us slap around Anaheim, it'll probably be better if we face Nashville.

I haven't been a big fan of Filppula for the better part of the season. He seems to be stepping it up lately and I hope he continues to do so. Go Flip!!!

I'd be pissed. I only got to go to 1 game this year and that was last saturdays 8-2 loss vs CBJ. I want my money back if this is the case. At the same time I would forgive but not forget if they won the cup to where if they did it again the following year I would have to re-evaluate how much I love the wings and where my loyalship would lay. I really think the Wings are too classy to stoop that low tho... edit: I did notice that Huds didn't do his little kick in the shootout. Conspiracy?

You're probably right, and Filppula has come on stronger as of late and would probably be a better fit. I would keep the Huds Hossa part of it tho. I thought they played well together earlier in the season for the few games they did. They seemed to have some good chemistry. Helm just seems more of a play maker than Fillpula has been. That's why I chose him. (sp)

This stat must not include the Wings unless Wings games are the majority of the 30%. I personally think they should just leave the rules on fighting alone. Whether staged or not, most fans love it. I don't know anyone who has changed the channel during a fight. It's not like they beat each other to the death. My wife, who hates fighting per se, will watch a fight during a hockey game because 1. it's for the most part a controlled environment to where anyone rarely gets seriously hurt and 2. It's very entertaining. Yes, the fighting after a clean hit needs to stop but other than that let it go.

This may not be a bad idea but what's going to happen during the playoffs? Do they keep the rotation if it works or is there an unwritten law that says you have to stick with one goalie?

I'm lucky if I get to go to 1 game a year. (Going Saturday bty...YAY) anyways, I get there as soon as I can. The first thing I do is find my seat and then I go to concessions and get my not needed but truly desired in obligitory over-priced snacks and soda. I only get up during the game if I absolutely have too. Maybe a lot of those people absolutely have to. I have noted that if you leave during a period, you can't get back in until a whistle blows, so I try avoid leaving at all cost. I always stay til after they spotlight the top 3 after the game. I just want to say that I've been to football games, baseball...etc but the atmosphere at the Joe is totally awesome campared to any sprting event I've been to anywhere else. I'm sure there are other fans like me who are in total awe of the whole experience because it is a great experience going to the Joe for those of us who rarely get to go to a game. So I don't have any problem with what the other fans do at a game. I would only have a problem with someone being obnoxious and/or intentionally rude. Now my questions. 1. Do you have to have a ticket for the lower level to get down to the ice on the pregame skate. And is it hard to get someone to sign a jersey? I'd like to try and get my jersey signed if possible. I'm thinking about wearing my Chelios jersey if he plays. I don't think he'll be playing too much longer and I might not have another chance. If not I'll wear my Datsyuk and the wife has Z's 2. Which would be better to visit. Hockeytown Cafe or Cheli's Chili. I've been to the Cafe but no one in the group has and none of us has been to Cheli's either.

Hudler gets my vote, Although Lilja and Samuelson were on everyones S-list last year and both have shown a lot of improvement.
