While Federov solidified my love for hockey over any other sport, I have to go with Pavel. I get the same feeling I had with Serg when he got the puck, that something amazing was going to happen. I just get that feeling more consistantly with Dats.

I'd like to see Helm, Downey Draper on the 4th line. I don't think we absolutely need an enforcer but it's nice to have one around.

I think it's a stupid idea. If they are trying to get more viewers, show more T & A on the breaks. I'm not trying to be sexist but the reality is that it seems to work for all the other sporting events. -

So far, it seems about 1/3 of the games this season have gone into overtime. And with the 4 on 4 play that occurs during a game, it would be nice to have the odds that someone is going to score be in our favor, not the other teams. So yes, it should be addressed.

I don't think this is a good enough reason to keep Flip, I'm sure could find other ways to shut down Malkin. But don't get me wrong, I like Flip and think Huds and Flip are great linemates together. I wouldn't want to lose Flip but would chose Hudler over Filpula based on the way they are playing right now.

I remember watching him in his rookie year bounce a pass to himself behind the net leaving the defender dumbfounded as to what just happened. I told my friends from the start that he was going to be one of the best. He's a humble unselfish team player and we are lucky to have him. edit (sp)

I have to agree with this. Hudler has been consistantly on the puck and in the middle of the play whenever he is on the ice. Cleary, pretty much the same. As far as Sammy and Franzen, they are working hard but don't seem to be cliquing at the moment. They'll come around...maybe on the 3rd line for awhile. I think Hank is fine. He's just not getting the backup he's used to and will adapt accordingly in time.

Cherry is nothing more than an entertainer at best any more, a sports announcer in a clown suit. And even tho I take what he says with a grain of salt, I still get a few laughs on his behalf so it doesn't bother me to watch him. The Elmer Fudd looking guy (Pierre) that used to be on VS, don't know if he's still there or not, haven't seen him this year, anyway, that dude bugs the hell out of me.

It will be what Ozzie needs to get his focus back. Conklin will play better and try to steal the #1 spot(which he will come close but not succeed because #30 will return once again as The Great and Powerful Oz) and whomever they bring up from G.R will only be the backup during that time period. Nothing more nothing less. I have spoken LOL

I agree with this although I'm not sure what the date should be, maybe the halfway point of the season. Still, I think it would prevent the idea that you could sit out the season to come in healthy and strong for the playoffs while others who worked hard all year and deserve to be there get sent down to the minors.

I agree. The reason I go is to watch the game. While I'm sure some updates or new arena would be nice, I have to wonder how it would effect ticket prices as well.
