Hmm. Well thanks for bringing back some painful memories, boys. Once that fifth goal went in I had a huge gut feeling they'd tie it up. I honestly couldn't disagree more with this, we definitely deserved to win tonight. Pittsburgh played well for about 10 minutes, if that. Until we completely blew it this was our best game of the season. I can maybe give you Lidstrom but Datsyuk was incredible tonight. The only error he made was unfortunately the one that cost us the game but up to that point I thought he was the best player on the ice for either team. I couldn't wait to come on here after we lost. Looking forward to hearing Babcock's comments.

Bit of a knee jerk reaction, don't you think? He was bad tonight, but he's had a ton of great games for us.

Well that was obviously a crappy game. I'd like to see our roster shaken up a bit but I will be very surprised if that happens. People have been ripping Kopecky alot tonight but I thought he had a pretty good game. Lots of hits, drew a penalty in the first, assist on the Rafalski goal. I'm not exactly a big fan of him but he looked alright out there. The only good thing about this game was that I have Rafalski and Hossa in my pool.

Best thing right now would be for San Jose to score like 3 more goals. We need a wake up call. It's amazing, really, that our record is as good as it is. Our defense is seriously struggling.

Wowwww, do we ever look bad tonight. What was Lebda doing on the second Sharks goal? You gotta knock that guy down. I can't remember the last time we played this terrible.

Hahahahaha. We are so stacked, haha. I only saw the 3rd + OT/SO because of work, but at least I picked a good time to start watching. Conklin was solid in the shootout. What a shot by Hossa. Oh and Datsyuk's goal was absolutely beautiful. Hope Franzen's okay. I can't tell if the refs were really against us or if I'm just a homer.

THAT'S what we want to see from Hossa! What a game he had, he was creating offense all over the place. Datsyuk was excellent as well. Nice to see our big lines really clicking tonight. Overall I'm pretty happy with the win but I want to nitpick a bit. Lebda and Meech were awful tonight. Were they on the ice for all three goals against? At least two of them anyways. It just makes me wonder sometimes how good we could be if we were playing Helm instead of Kopecky and Ericsson instead of Lebda/Meech. I don't dislike any of our players, but when you have such great talent in the minors and you have guys out there that either don't really do much or play terribly....just makes me wonder.

It's probably because the colour commentator for MSG went on and on about how bad of a call it was. You'd never hear Mickey Redmond do that. We wouldn't be much different here if the shoe was on the other foot though.

Meh. We got a point. Kronwall looked kind of bad tonight. Our inability to score even strength goals is a bit concerning, but overall I'm not too worried. Hossa needs a goal to get some confidence. And finally I wish Helm was on the team, but what can you do?

I personally thought we played pretty well, much better than our last two games. Conklin was amazing but we could have easily had 3 or 4 more goals. Hossa's starting to look a bit better out there. I have also been impressed with Cleary's play so far in these first three games. I am thrilled that we somehow yet again managed to end up with two starting calibre goaltenders on our team. It's going to be hard for anyone to say that our weakness is goaltending this year (that won't stop them from trying though, I'm sure).

I doubt he'll be playing much now. He single handedly cost the Leafs a point today.

Well, that's a relief. Still lots of work to be done, but it's comforting to know that even when we don't play well we can still win.

Bad game, sucks to be me right now. I wore my Wings jersey to school today so I'll be hearing it now. Everyone was off tonight, hoping for better on Saturday.

Franzen was unbelievable tonight. He's playing like a man possessed, I couldn't believe some of the backchecking he was doing. So far it looks like last year was no fluke.

Wow, Franzen seems pretty determined to prove that his streaky playoff run just wasn't luck. Pretty boring game, but I'm glad we won or I'd never hear the end of it.

If he had a bit more skill, he'd be a great player. I consider him to be a pretty good player. He plays hard every game, you can't ask for much more than that.

I think I remember the St. Louis guys being pretty good but honestly I don't pay much attention to the announcers. The Columbus guys are by far the worst though.

I don't mind Kopecky, but Helm brings way more to the table. The way he played in the playoffs, I can't imagine us not playing him.
