I'm starting to think the league needs to implement a zero tolerance on hits from behind. Auto one game suspension, but only on plays where it was avoidable. This play needs to be removed from hockey. Going into the boards like that the slightest amount of contact can cause you to lose an edge. Redmond was just on 105.1 talking about the same thing. That will never happen though they're still trying to eliminate head shots, but gloved punches to the head are perfectly acceptable. -

Not that hard of a crosscheck, but when a player is going to the boards with his back turned that is not a good time to apply one. There was no direct intent to injure, but it did appear Kane lost his edge due to the crosscheck. -
The first hit he had his down, second hit he was fighting for the puck in the corner. I can't fault him on that one.

Man Andy almost got smoked again in the corner, I don't mind the hard hits, but that one looked like he lined him up from 15 ft away next to the boards. Could have been really dangerous
