Q got hauled to the ice in the 1st by a guy without a stick. At the end of the 2nd Nyquist was being hooked and slashed by 3 different players. Doesn't matter who's carrying the play a penalty is a penalty. -

Reminding of that game where Chicago was not called for a single penalty. Even when the wings had a break away and there was a blatant hook. -

You know more professional networks bring in a home commentator from both sides. When ever the tigers play on FOX rod Allen will usually be in the booth with a guy from the other team. It's pathetic that Eddie commentates EVERY blackhawks wings game on national TV. -

Bumping this thread I was going to make a thread of a similar topic, but did a quick search first and found this one. Watching last nights game Montreal had 19 blocked shots and the wings had 8. Why is this a stat that the wings find themselves every year ranked in the bottom 5? Invidual stats wise Kronwall is ranked 94th this year, and that's leading the team.

Also how pathetic is it that we can't get fans to come to an original six match up against a first place team. I thought they were playing in Montreal when they scored the winner. -

If this is how the playoffs will be officiated they will struggle. They are relying too much on the power play. When you're only limited to 2 it's going to come back and bite you. Outside of that 4-1 win against the islanders, they have really struggled to get goals against the top teams in the East. -

So that's a loss to the lighting, pens, and habs recently....with a win over NYI. Well they can beat the top teams in the west, but struggle against the east. -

He also takes some horrible entries into the offensive zone sometimes. Earlier in the game he could have challenged the defender on a 2 on 2, but cut across the ice to turn it over. -
