That first Howard goal was a back breaker. The wings took the crowd out of it in the first game. That was their first goal of the series, and it gave the bruins life. The playoffs is not a time to be making mistakes like that. Oh well the wings split in Boston and have home ice. -

Maybe jesus can rise up and spear lucic in the junk. That would make for a very happy easter. I'm really worried about cheap shots in this game. The bruins were hitting hard last game, and they will for sure be hitting harder today. Combine that with they can't control their emotions, it's a recipe for disaster. -
Yep this is what I have been saying. Also what the hell is with all the cheap shots lately? The league put in the instigator penalty so they would be the ones policing the game, except they are not doing their job. They are allowing this stuff to go unpunished.one game suspensions are not going to stop headshots, players need to be suspended for entire series. Time to practice what you preach.

Why is Eddie allowed to be anywhere near hawks games?

Basically the league saying do it again and maybe we'll suspend you. When they should be saying do it again and we'll give you 3 games rather than this 1 game. The NHL almost dares players to do stuff like this, because they know they won't get suspended.

Think about the other leagues, the ones that care about player safety. If there was a nut shot away from the play in any other league they are getting a suspension, and a lengthy one. In the NFL it would probably be two games (1/8 of the season!). In the NBA probably 10. The NHL? no games and a $5,000 slap on the wrist. Isn't $5,000 the max too, for a player?

He won't get suspended. This league does not care about player safety at all. Remember when Lindstrom got speared by sharp and needed surgery.
