    I can't defend smith anymore, these are not rookie mistakes. I can maybe defend a forward for losing his man, but not a Dman. The scheme was man to man how do you let your guy sit in front of the net? Datsyuk and Z need to step up big time in game 7. The 3rd and 4th lines can not continue to carry this team and expect to win.

    Even in todays nhl that is not a penalty. Stick to stick contact is not a penalty unless the stick breaks. If that was a penalty there is 200 or so penalties a game....It's just so damn frustrating to see an obvious penalty not called that ends in a penalty shot for the other team on ther side.

    franzen is really frustrating, there was one play where the puck rebounded into the corner and he is just looking up into the sky. Man all the concussions over the years has really messed with his play.

    I will take a cold white over smith, sad to say that. He is directly costing the wings games. He does not look to be learning, and is making the same mistakes. You just don't lose your man like that playing man to man!
