I really hope that shot off the backboard was planned at the end of the 2nd, cause that was a horrible shot hahah. Just let it rip with that much space. -
I like Mighty Mac and am sticking with it. For two reasons the Mackinac bridge is a big landmark in MI, and has the nickname "Mighty Mac". The other is it is written on his mask, with the Mackinac Bridge.

It was redirected by a Hawks stick, right before it crossed the line. The kicking rule just drive me crazy, it's not for safety if you allow a goal like that to stand.

People get this misconception that if a goalie is out of the crease, he is fair game. In that situation the goalie was planted for a good 1-2 seconds before bert skates into him. Sadly I have to say it was a good call, because as much as bert was being forced into the goalie, he made no effort to avoid him.
