The one thing I always enjoy about all-star weekends is the celebrity events. The NFL has the flag football, MLB has the softball game, and the NBA....eh who cares about the NBA I know there have been celebrity hockey games in the past, but I was thinking change it up and have a celebrity broom ball game. A broom ball game would allow celebrities that don't know how to skate an opportunity to partake in the action. This is just a fun thought that came to my head to raise some money . Also anyone see the red wings broom ball games posted on youtube?

It would be cool if they could get Detroit Vs. Toronto celebrities.

This is going to benefit Detroit greatly. Leaf fans travel really well, the bridge and the tunnel is going to be packed. I would not be surprised if a lot of those people stay in Detroit, and take a shuttle to Ann Arbor. The businesses in Detroit are not going to suffer from this. It was this or not have the classic at all. I rather have this.

Las Vegas hosted an NHL preseason game with the rangers playing the kings. The ice actually held up really well. The main problem for that game was grasshoppers jumping all over the ice.
