I stated the same thing on hf boards. The league has allowed diving to creep into the game. They have done nothing to get rid of it. Penalties should be reviewed and divers should be fined.

It's the hawks, officiating has been questionable in each game they played 2 weeks before the playoffs. I mean come on Detroit did not even have a PP in 2 games against them this year. That being said, Vancouver has no right to complain. You were up 3-0 with this questionable officiating, but now it's 3-3 and it's a problem?

This is what I have been thinking for a while. Yeah VS/NBC brings more money to the table, but the exposure ESPN provides would be a huge boost. Even if they are on ESPN 2, which I think was the original idea.

This is really starting to get ridiculous 0 penalty minutes for the sharks this afternoon. Kudos to the Hawks for overcoming the officiating the sharks benefited from in round 2 (something the wings could not do). I know lopsided Penalty minutes does not always mean horrible officiating, but the officials have been turning a blind eye to the sharks lately. Most of the penalties against the Hawks were legit. So with that being said do you think the officials call more penalties on the sharks next game, or will they start calling penalties against the sharks. Only to negate them with a Hawks penalty? Do you think the Hawks have over or under 4 PPs in game 2?

As I think Murray should be suspended 1 game. I really don't plan on seeing one. It would mean the refs screwed up big time, Sharks scoring on what should have been a wings PP. The NHL would never admit their refs screwed up. They never have, and I don't see them breaking the trend during the playoffs.
