This is so fun to read.... Reminds me of 2008 when no one thought Ozzy coul bring us the cup, and there he was, stellar than ever. SO yeah everyone has the right to have his opinion, but just remember what he did before talking some crap like that. Yeah he is a pro and should be sharp anytime, but he like everyone, Human. This means that regrdless how much you are paid, regardless how many experience you have, you just get rusty when you haven't done anything for a long time. This year the defence has been really bad, it was last year too, so i think that the wings should help him getting his confidence back. It is like you playing video games, if you don't during one month you aren't as good as you were. It is like playing whatever sports, don't compete for 20 games and we'll see if you are as sharp as you were. So before criticizing, just think about how you would be in this same situation. Getting osgood his confidence back will start by the fact that we should be able to keep a 2 goal lead way more often than what we did. Reminds me of legace in 2006, everyone talked s*** about him because of his inexperience in the playoffs, it is funny about how ppl forget about the previous achievments. But whatever, we all know you would do better aye? So why don't you try the training camp next year? Why not starting a thread about Zetterberg being done too??? what... he was injured???? So was osgood if i remember..... Z has been playing for 4-5 games and is far from being 100%. How did osgood play since his return??? 3-4 i think... Here are the math done for you. Give him a break, and remember this when we'll be in the playoffs, when howard won't be good enough because of inexperience and when osgood will save the day. Oh yeah one last things.... Everybody was in doubt when we saw howard this season.... Why so, because he had very few NHL experience and was not that good in those 6 games in played in 2 seasons. Now he is good... why so? because he plays more. Just think about it... cheers

We did not lose the game on this penalty. we lost the game at 15:30 in the first period.

like all season long, wings have been playing for only 1 period. Problem is, that the period is kinda of random. One day they just play the first, one day just the third.... We'd rather not make the playoff otherwise the disappointment will be even bigger. And lets face it, this year we don't have the team.

Awesome game. Shame we lost, but overall i felt we had a nice game tonight. Wing did definitively put playoffs mode goals (1&2). We had great chances in OT to win it... but we didn't. Howard prided us the opportunity to win the game, which we did not. He wasn't that good during the shootout session, but can't blame him. Anyway nice effort from us all. Watching this really made me consider that whatever happens (in a matter of the league trying to stop the wings) we do belong into the playoffs. Awesome datsyuk in deke again btw and oh yeah the commentator (NBC one) should review his hockey bible. Bertuzzi put on a Dennis Savard spinorama, not St Louis one. But meh... what the H...

I now have enough of this ******* NHL. It has been several years now that the NHL is trying to break the Redwings dynasty. They are doing it the lamest way possible. 2 years ago, puck in the mesh, thornton gets it back and scores (valid goal) Last playoffs, Game 2 unpunished instigation by malkin last playoffs, game 4 26 seconds too many men on the ice uncalled game 7 goal 1, icing uncalled, goal 2 high stick uncalled. Earlier this year, May goal disallowed Tonight, another rip off. Those are just exemples from many mistakes made that arm the Wings. Yeah it happens in the other way too... but when. We can clearly see that the ref, were not even in the game, and distracted by Bert and Ott. 2 obvious high stick missed. And then this last shootout goal... WTF. The referee, so close to the net, waving this off, then no conclusive replays from the Tv angles, and this same ref, who helped Howie to get it out with his (he was so close ) wave it off..... Please toronto, tell me what kind of X-ray tv you have. F... You.

Well congrats to the Pens.... But now I just hate that we lost, and also that the NHL from the whole beginning of the season did not want the redwings to win. This is even more obvious in the cup finals. To name a few: Game 2: Malkin instigator----> not suspended while all previous player were Game 3or4: 25sec of too many men uncalled----> very obvious to see (and sometimes they are calling very tricky ones) Game 7: 1st goal scored---> Icing should have been called before the turnover 2nd goal----> High sticking on samuelsson not called neither. With all the respect i have for the Penguins, I'm just sick at Bettman and whomever wanted to see Crosby win. I like Crosby and respect him of course, but having to rely on the official mistakes to win a cup is just lame. I hope someday the Penguins will be able to win another cup, with this time real hockey odds and not "corrupted" refs. Questions: "Why the NHL doesnot favorise anyteam that could repeat?" Why Bettman simply hate the Redwings? Why we got boed last year when we won and this year we have the respect to applaude the winning team (fanwise speaking)? Why Hossa who wanted the cup soooo bad did actually played the worst 2 game of his life? Anyway i'm just sad we lost, Better chance next year.

I just love It On the other hand, even though i totally agree with the fact the hit was clean, you can't blame Campbell for being upset about. The word gutless may sound chocking and not at all professional, but even Kronwall recognized he could have said the same if an identical situation would have occured against the Wings. The wings are just tremendous players, who have even more respect to the game than any other team. As a matter of fact the salary/score sheet comparison. They just play hard, correct and smart, inbetween and after the whistles. We just made the hawks' offensive statement by defeating them 6-1..... What else Cheers guys.... And Kronwall RULES

I think that the most important thing is that Pavel must be back on track, getting more confidence.... Babcock has been using him with hanks few times during critical moments. I'm not surprise that this could happen: Pavel--Zata--Mule Homer--Flip--Hossa Cleary--Huds--Samy Maltby--Draper/helm--Helm/abdelkader/leino Hossa will play beyond our expectations if we meet Pens in finals
