QFT. Nobody would be talking about the Ericsson call if some of those earlier interference penalties were called on Pittsburgh. If you're going to let them play, then let them play. If you're going to call it tight, then call it tight. But you can't just start calling penalties like those (ESPECIALLY at that point in a hockey game) after letting alot of things slide earlier. Still, the main concern last night was our play. We just kept making mistake after mistake and eventually it bit us. We can't afford another performance like we saw in those last two periods.

I wonder if this was a Kejci or Kessel decision. Hate to see the B's lose either one of those guys.

I'm all for letting the guys play. But in the case of last night, you can't be conservative with the whistle and then turn around and call a ticky-tack penalty on Ericsson. If you're going t let them play, let them play. But be consistent with what you call and what you let slide.

Don't know what the **** happened during the first intermission, but our team looked like **** the last two periods. We just turned something off; lazy play in the neutral zone, sloppy puck-handling, bad passing, casual defensive play. Bottom line, we looked like we didn't care. Good job by Pittsburgh. Pens had everything riding on that last period and they played like it. Good intensity in that last period, and they eventually made us pay for our lackluster play. They definitely earned this one. Datsyuk por favor?

When did the Red Wings switch places with Honeybaked?

Wings fell asleep in that one a bit. We started making some bad turnovers in our own zone and couldn't get any offensive pressure going on the powerplay. Babs is doing a good job making sure Zetterberg is out there against Crosby. Both teams are getting some quality play from their role players. Now its time for the big guns to step up a bit tho.

Some quick thoughts: -Pittsburgh is playing alot more aggressively tonight. Defensively they're jumping up and taking more aggressive chances than they were in the first two games. Could be a double-edged sword; Wings need to try to break past that and create some odd-man rushes. -Two uncharacteristic soft goals let in by Ozzie. Those are the kind of saves he's been making all season long. He's got to wake up a little. -Pens have some good puck movement going. Idk if its playing at home or what, but they seem more comfortable, and they're getting a better flow together than they had in the first two games. -How the f*** did NOBODY see that too many men penalty? Overall, I like the intensity out there.
