Crabcakes....If you have a computer with you, hockeywebcasts.com usually has a stream of the game. Our campus didnt have Versus so that helped me out all season.

I believe I said after Game 3 when everyone was discussing a Wings/Pens final..... Sorry this is my first time back here in a couple of days, so sorry if I repeat some stuff. For some reason, Detroit just has not looked like Detroit in the previous games. We've played extremely sloppy and have made more avoidable mistakes in the last two games then I've seen in the entire season. Both goals against the last game were basically gift-wrapped because someone was out of position or was playing too casual.

So yeah...The last time I checked each team only won three games. As far as I'm concerned, until we get win number 4 the other team is still in the series. Im more concerned about tonights matchup than the Finals at this point.

Turco got lit up....Ribeiro was invisible....Osgood was stellar....the fans were deathly quiet..... Tonight was BY FAR the best retaliation we could have hoped for

For the first time I can recall, Poile will have no spending limits this off-season. He's certainly using this as an opportunity to lock up his key guys. A little overpaid in my opinion, but he was great when he was with Kariya. If the Preds get a solid playmaker, this guy could be great.

It doesn't matter if Ozzie wasn't hurt. The intent to injure was still there. If you fire a gun at someone and miss, they don't let you off because the other guy didn't get hurt (extreme example but you get my point). You can't call Ozzie's instance intentional. For all we know he could have been trying to slow Ribiero down, goalies do that move all the time. And yet he actually could have been trying to injure Ribiero, but we don't know that one way or another.

It wasnt retired. When Stevie announced he'd miss the Olympics, Joe Sakic had the option of switching to 19, but he kept 91 out of respect for Stevie. The rest of the team did the same.

No one was doubting the fan support. I'm talking about financial support. Winnipeg and Quebec moved because they lacked alot of corporate support. Both Ottawa and Edmonton had financial troubles in recent years (Ottawa's owners actually declared bankruptcy). You look at some of the other pro sports leagues. The Vancouver Grizzlies moved out, the Montreal Expos moved out, the Toronto Raptors were on the verge of moving out. The fact of the matter is America has better corporate support than Canada. THAT is why Canada will not be able to support another NHL team.

I would love this. Having him out there gives us two dominant, shut-down pairs on the blue line, something that is a luxury in the current NHL.

With the exception of Game 5, I thought we were outplayed the last few games. I wouldn't say manhandled, but Anaheim definitely looked like the better team out there.
