Who has two thumbs and third row seats for this game? This guy

Colin Campbell is not allowed to a part of any disciplinary hearing/call involving Boston. Murphy (forget his first name) becomes the head disciplinarian in any case thereafter

This Casey: Chara made absolutely zero contact with Pacioretty's head on that play. The only reason the "dirty play" tag is being added onto that is that Patch got hurt on the play. Like I've said before, it's tragic what happened to Max Pacioretty, and my thoughts and prayers are with him and a speedy recovery. But I still say with 100% confidence Chara did nothing wrong on that play.

He suspended him 3 games.......that's not exactly not doing anything.....

But here's the question...Is Air Canada saying "We're pulling our money until you address the issue," or "We're pulling our money until you address the issue the way Air Canada wants you to address it." Gary Green on NHL Network brought up an interesting point on this. This year the NHL has levied 18 suspensions for a total of 64 games for incidents deemed "a blow to the head." So for Air Canada to come out and say "the league isn't doing anything about hits to the head" is inaccurate. It's still a major issue, and it's going to continue to be for a long time, and there will always be ways the league can improve the issue. But to say Colin Campbell and Gary Bettman are just sitting by and watching the league devolve into madness...I just don't see that as the case. Like I said before, I think this is Air Canada reacting to one league decision that didn't go their way. There have been other questionable rulings on both ends that have passed by before this one that has virtually gone unnoticed, and it's just after a no-call that they choose to react. If Pacioretty gets up and skates away, this discussion doesn't even happen. By the way, Chara pushed Pacioretty in the side of the chest.....How is that a hit to the head?

I'm confused as to why everyone is applauding this. Do you really want a corporation having this much control over how the league is run? This is like a mother telling her teenage son "do this or I'm taking away your allowance." This is something the LEAGUE needs to address, not corporations. Oh and for the record.... How long have headshots been a problem in the league? And when did Air Canada suddenly become concerned with them?

I don't know if anyone saw this, but literally THE EXACT SAME PLAY happened in the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game earlier that night. Can't remember the 2 players involved, but the Sabres player was trying to beat the Penguins players along the boards. The Penguins guy got beat, came in late from the side, and slammed the Sabres guy into the turnbuckle. To be honest, that play looked like it was done with more malicious intent than this one. And yet, nobody is talking about that play being a dirty hit...nobody is demanding a suspension from the Penguins player...and no sponsor is threatening to boycott the game based on that play. As harsh as it may sound, the only two reasons were discussing this right now is 1.Pacioretty got hurt, and 2. it's two players and teams with a recent history. Obviously, it's unfortunate what happened to Patch, and my thoughts and prayers are with him and a speedy recovery. But to be honest, there was nothing dirty about that hit. It was a play you see all the time, just with a tragic end result. That should be the end of it

Believe it or not, Suter isn't exactly a guarantee to stay with the Preds. Friedman has his own spending limits, and alot of people down here have publicly questioned whether they will be able to keep them both
-
Kinda echoing what everyone else said...But down here, Weber is the face of the franchise right now. Nashville won't trade him, and they will more than likely match any offer that comes there way across the RFA line. But he would be amazing as a Wing

Which tells me Kenny either has little confidence in A. Ozzie being able to recover on time, or B. Jimmy's ability to carry the team in the postseason

The three teams I'm most worried about are Colorado, San Jose, and (for some reason) Chicago. In other coming back to the NHL news....per Darren Dreger

Just because there are teams behind us in the waiver order, that doesn't mean they don't have a shot at claiming a player. Basically, when the waiver order is compiled, they essentially just list the reverse standings and take the Wings out of the list. So yes, all 29 teams get a shot

Since alot of the leagues on here have already filled up, I'm trying to start another Fantasy League on ESPN. Anyone interested PM me or email nsmorgan317@gmail.com . Keep in mind, this will be the most epically awesome Fantasy League on ESPN, and I pity anyone who misses out. Yours truly, RedFX
