Exactly. Come to think of it, Chelios was very quiet regarding the fans before he scored that goal back in March.........

I've felt that way so many times. I was born in Ypsi but moved here when I was 7. The next year Nashville was awarded a franchise, so naturally I cheered for them. There are an extreme amount of douchebags there. After one game I even saw a Preds couple try to pick a fight with a Red Wings couple....WHO HAD THEIR BABY WITH THEM (almost happened too). I've been through some of the same stuff you had, getting hit on the head, getting stuff thrown at me etc. One person even did it to my mom. But on the other hand, I've had Preds fans come to me after the game and congratulate me or tell me good game. And on the other other hand (I guess this would have to be someone else's hand cause this is my third point) I've seen Detroit fans stand and start taunting Preds fans in the audience after a win or goal. So in the end it goes both ways. The best thing to do is let Babcock and crew do your taunting for you. You'll start to notice how less annoying Preds fans become when their team is getting killed on the ice. There is no excuse for what those fans are doing, but they want to to respond and stoop to their level. Also, don't let this deter you from going to anymore Wings games at the Sommet. I've known people that have completely stopped going because they were either annoyed or intimidated. I've been down that road so many times, but in the end I love hockey and I love the Wings, and I'll be there to cheer them on no matter what. So whoever you, I hope to see you at the nest Wings/Preds game.

Remember in 04, a heavily favored Bruins squad went up 3-1? Then was schallacked in the next 3 games? This could be Boston's payback.

I'm sure there was alot of people who thought the same thing with Yzerman before the 1997 season.

Last year, Up 2-0 on Calgary. Calgary tied it 2-2. Wings advance 4-2 Down 2-1 to San Jose. Series was tied 2-2. Wings advance 4-2 We did it twice last year. Calgary dominated us at their home last year, their defense shut them down and their offense scored timely goals. When Calgary tied it up, did the Wings panic? No. They came out motivated and we absolutely beat the crap out of them in Game 5. San Jose had a series lead on their home ice. After seemingly being dominated the entire series, the Wings score two quick goals and completely shift the momentum. Trotz is one of the best in the league at using home ice advantage. I honestly saw Detroit losing at least one of these games and I wasn't suprised when they lost both. That being said, he's TERRIBLE at making adjustments on the road. This time, we'll have the matchups that we want, and I think we'll be able to shut their big guns down. This is no time to panic. This is a time to rally around the troops.

This is no time to panic. We've been here before. Three times last year we came home with a 2-2 record and 2 of those times we picked up a decisive victory, and was two bad bounces away from picking up the other. We have alot of veterans in that locker room that have been here before, and they can rally.

If you're talking about the thing during the actual Goal Song.... We're gonna beat the hell outta you! And you! And you! And You-And you-And You! And that was actually taken from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Geez. Kronwall has been hitting like he has a personal grudge against the Preds

Gah Sammy!

PAVEL IS SO FREAKIN CLUTCH!!!!!!!!

Then everyone cries uncontrolably.

Would everyone here quit arguing with each other? We're on the same ******* team for Christ's sake! I've had enough of this Hasek/Osgood crap and benching every single player on the team! We're down 2 goals. If NASHVILLE can close the gap in less than a minute 3 times this series, we can do it at least once in 20 minutes. We've come back from much worse than this. We can easily do this.
-
Draper! What the Hell were you thinking?!
-
That might have been the greatest thing Steve Yzerman brought to Detroit.
-
You gotta be kidding me. Is anyone finding this series eerily similar to the 04 series?
-
This is NOT how we needed to start the game. This is absolutely terrible. Still, we've seen how easy it is to swing momentum. Although it was the other team that showed us that.

WHAT THE f*** KINDA CALL WAS THAT?! f*** MCCREARY!

WHAT THE HELL WHITE?!?!

For the sake of me not getting crap from my friends, GET IT DONE WINGS! Its games like these where a coach like Babs come in handy. You know he isn't gonna let his team collapse twice. He knows what Nashville is trying to do and he's gonna take it to them. Also a big benefit of having a veteran goalie like Dom, losses like that doesn't rattle him. He's gonna come out strong and motivated. I predict a shutout. Wings 3 (Lids, Holmstrom, Franzen) Preds 0

Over the summer when all the relocation drama started, the City held a giant rally inside the Sommet Center to protest the move. My girlfriend asked me to go on late notice so I just went with what I had on at the time. It just so happened that was one of those Datsyuk jersey t-shirts. It wasn't until someone asked "What's with the Wings shirt" that I even realized it. I felt incredibly proud of myself. Also back in high school, I also wore some sort of Wings memorabilia on Preds/Wings gamedays.

Save the Predators Rally I win .

How many Wings fans out there thought 5 years ago that we'd be cheering for Colorado and Dallas in the playoffs. As for the games, I'll pick Boston, Philly, San Jose, and Minnesota

You know for some reason, the hour-long drive back home goes by really slow when you lose...... Not really much I can say that already hasn't been said. There is absolutely NO excuse for that late collapse. Hopefully, Babs will let his team know that. The split of the Euro Twins did not work. Neither Dats or Z could get anything set up. I understand your trying to prevent stacking agaisnt that top line, but those three together have found ways around that all season. I say put them back together the next game. I don't know what happened after that first intermission, but we lost any intensity we had. We allowed Nashville to gain momentum and it came back to bite us. We had the win in our hands and we let it slip away. Terrible effort tonight, but I have no doubt in my mind that we will rebound for Game 4.
