This is a HUGE opportunity for Ericsson. Usually guys in his situation get shipped back to the minors when everyone is healthy, especially entering the final stretch. He's obviously shown that he can play on the next level. This is a huge show of confidence from Babcock and hopefully Ericsson makes the most of this opportunity.

ESPN is reporting that both Sidney Crosby and Peter Forsberg will return to the ice tonight. Crosby has been out since early January with a sprained ankle while Forsberg is making his season debut. Big returns considering both teams are in the midst of playoff races.

I think Ovechkin is better pure scorer. But Crosby is the better all around player IMO. And for those of you playing the Canadian vs. European card, may I remind you of how much the media touted Jagr as the world's best year after year?

Also happy to say I get to see him when he comes to Nashville on th 18th. This guy has to be three times more fun to watch in person.

I don't see us making a big run at Miller, unless the market for him is cold. Vokoun still has 3 years left on his contract and Florida is unlikely to buy him out. I only see Lehtonen coming in as a backup for Osgood (if they don't feel like Howard is ready). The most likely scenario I see is Osgood starting with Howard backing him up.

Secondary scoring was a big part of our slump. Drake, Filpulla, Franzen, and Maltby. Not saying we should stop being concerned, but this is definitely a good sign.

This honestly may be the most retarded post I've ever read on LGW. While we're at it, lets market Chris Simon's cheapshots because people pay attention to violence in the mainstream. If you want the reputation and integrity of hockey completely diminished, then by all means, introduce Crosby and Ovechkin to Kurt Radomski. But I personally enjoy knowing that our players' success is a result of hard work and dedication, and not a result of some shady dressing room attendant selling drugs behind the scenes.

Kronwall and Stuart. I would definitely keep my head up when facing that pair. I wonder if we'll see Stuart paired with Lids, and Rafalski paired with Kronwall.

With all the talk on here lately. you would think the Wings are in last place. We have the same team that started 41-10-4, so obviously we have the personel to get the job done. Stuart was a good pickup, as right now our D-liners are depleted. Once everyone is healthy, he'll fit nicely into our top 4 and add some physicallity to the blue line.
