Rafalski out with a groin injury; Quincey called up
RedFX replied to HockeyCrazy3033's topic in General
I thought Quincey did a good job in the limited time he played last year, and if it wasn't for his injury in preseason, he would probably be here as a full time guy (instead of Meech). That being said, I would have liked to see either Kindl or Ericsson brought up for some playing time. Both are having great years in the Rapids. If they are indeed the D-men of the future, I would have loved to see them get their feet wet during this time. -
I see Tampa giving up Kuba before they give up Boyle.

I'm not crazy about him. IMO he's a little past his prime, and alot of his production is a result of having Lecavalier and St. Louis on his line. I don't know if you can trust him to anchor a second scoring line.

Yeah its really too bad. Trotz, in my opinion, is the most underrated coach in the NHL. He's been with the team since the beginning and all of the progress made belongs to him. They play us a few weeks from now on NBC, so they will get a chance to get some national exposure. The firesale left Nashville without several of their best players. But something alot of people forget is that Nashville has been playing without Steve Sullivan since last March. He's been one of the leaders since he arrived at Nashville (a hat-trick in his first game). He is Nashville's best pure scorer and they lose alot of offense with him out of the line up. Alot of the main guys have realy stepped up (Dumont and Radulov have been spectacular, Arnott having another solid season). But what has really impressed me is the role players that have stepped up. Scott Nichol has been red hot over the past few weeks. Jed Ortmeyer has become great on the penalty-killer. Greg Zanon and Dan Hamhuis both have really stepped up. Even Jordin Tootoo had been great before his injury. Guys you'd never expect to be key players have stepped up their play.

Don't look now, but Nashville is one of the league hottest teams. They're on a 9-2-2 run and currently have the 6th playoff seed, and only 3 points out of 5th. This is extremely impressive considering that they were the league's worst team entering December. Alot of the credit has to go to Trotz. He gets a team with a quarter of the talent they had last year and he's still bringing out the best in them. How this guy has not even been nominated for the Adams trophy over the last three years is beyond me, but I think he is definitely the leading man if they get into the playoffs.

As much as I first hated the idea, Sundin is starting to look like a better option every day.

You mean...someone like Sammy?

I don't think it's coincidence that our poor play started when Cleary got hurt.
-
I've seen worse than that not get called
-
A mix of both. But Mason's made some great saves.
-
Then how come he gets to play in the NHL and I don't?!?

Way to be Dats
-
NHL had him on for the goal by Erat and Radulov's 2nd.

Lids is -3.

The last I heard they still were. She also was dating Avery a while back.

Franzen has really been impressing me lately. We need him to step up especially with Cleary out.

Plus, when we get Stoll, Rachel Hunter shows up in the stands....

Redemption baby!

I'll say this, if the Kings can score 4 goals in the 3rd, so can we.
