Dumont just signed a big extension last week, 4 yrs 16 mil. He's by far been the Preds MVP this year.

I feel sorry for those 7000 Wings fans there tonight.

J.P. Dumont has been quite possibly the NHL's best player over the past month.

Forgive me if I seem a bit bitter tonight. This is the first time I will ever miss a Wings game in Nashville. Damn it College!

For those of you who claimed that was the right call. What about the Kunitz play. Osgood had the puck covered up in the crease, and Kunitz dug it out with his stick and play continued. I have no doubt that if the roles were reversed, that play would have been called dead. I'm not saying that should have been an interference call, but play should have definitely stopped.

Bottom line, the refs blew the game.... Twice

Trading Cleary would be the stupidest thing Holland could do, which is why it will never happen. On the other hand, I think it is very possible that someone could take Flip during the offseason. If someone puts down an insane offer-sheet, I don't think the Wings have room to get it done, especially with Zetterberg's contract running out in the next year.
