The best teams beat the refs instead of the other way around. Great poise by the Wings. Like I said, Coyotes have no offense, we should win this series in 5 at most.

Whenever I see we did well on the PP, I just assume Homer scored. No worries.

I wouldn't call him a flop. I'd call Mathieu Schneider (suppose to help us to repeat or at least win another cup right after our 01-02 cup) a flop or Derian Hatcher a flop. Modano was brought in to play 3rd/4th line and be scratched on occasion. I think he filled that roll admirably.

Tanking is bad. If you know you have the first pick if you have the worst record, that would promote tanking.

I disagree. It promotes intentional tanking if the team with the lowest record picks first. The only two intentional tankings were coincidentally done by the same team and it worked out for them both times.

Rafalski/Ericsson pairing lead to the highest +/- pairing, so those guys should stay together. Someone with a little bit of speed and even strength offesinve prowess should be with Lidstrom since he tends to be a stay at home D-Man at even strength, so Kronwall would be a good choice. That just leaves Stuart with Salei/Kindl. I'd be comfortable with all those pairings. I'm with GMR, we need new pairings and whatever happens, Lidstrom and Stuart should not be paired together.
