Only the Swedes got burnt. Makes sense though, I hear they don't have a sun that far up north in Europe.

Nice sauce to Datsyuk, terrible defense by Hedman, I had no idea what he was thinking.... Well, I know what he was thinking, but don't know why he did it.

Stop it! Just stop it! Two threads in one day? Don't forget, there are reports that the cap may even rise as much or more than 4mil this offseason due to improved marketing, the HBO series, and overall record profits.

Great game by the Wings! It's great to see a healthy Wings team. We are darn near unbeatable when healthy and when JHowww is at least average.
-
I am shocked!!!! J/k. Technically he could start the season in GRap next season as long as he assigned prior to the waiver wire starting, except if the Wings wanted to call him up he'd have to pass through re-entry waivers. Just technicalities

You are blasphemous!

Did he laugh at you and say he won 3

They've played together 80% of the time and they both have the two highest +/- on the team. I think they are perfect together.

Don't be rude, it's a tribute to Edicus.

Canucks Dman Andrew Alberts out indefinitely

We have too many Euros on our team. We need more North American names where everyone can spell them. Damn those Filpullas and Lindstroms. Curse that Zattaberg and Federov. Homstrom, get out of here. It's going to be a ***** when Pullkkinnen and Jarnkrock get over here. Thank God we have Smith in the minors, that's a good old North American name right there, easy to spell. -
Nashville could add the salaries of the Tamba Bay Rays in their budget. They'll match whatever a team offers and then double it for a laugh.
-
Hudler could catch a good trade, he's known to be using tradebait these days.

DETNEWS So which is it LGW? The hard nosed gritty '97 team who kicked your butt on the ice and on the scoresheet, or the '02 team that finessed their way with 10+ HHOFs? Also of note, the 2001 Avs team didn't crack the top 10 list and I think they were only slightly less impressive than the '02 Wings team.

Steckel's hit on Crosby in the WC was anything but unintentional.

If only. One hell of a lopsided trade.

So this is a "hate on the Canucks thread because we eel threatend" thread? This guy made the assertion that their team is the deepest in the league. You can't definitively say that's not true because you could actually argue they are, just look at their defense. Unless you can refute his statement with out saying "Dude you're a homer, but I am not going to offer up who I think are deeper", then no need to call him out on it. Canucks, Red Wings, Philly are probably the three deepest, most talented team in the league. Coincidentally, they are also the 3 favorites to win the cup. Canucks probably have the deepest organizational depth at defense. Wings probably have deepest forward depth in the league and Philly probably has the deepest overall depth. -
They signed them before they were 35.

Caught Zetterberg putting himself in a bad position.

Just win boys. Also, NO INJURIES!!!!! kkthxbye I hope this group shows up before the game: Plus 1 if you know why

Good thing that doesn't sound like collusion. Offering meech is like offering a 27th round draft pick, so why do it? Now, with that said, this is one of the first times I've seen a half way realistic trade. i don't think it would take a 3rd rounder to get this guy. See if they'll take Emmerton straight up, or sweeten the pot by adding a 5th and/or 6th in there for him.
-
Ah yes, i see your point.

Guess i'm not a xenophobe....I don't get the French-Canadian coach thing...

I guess this means LA will squeak out that 7th/8th spot for sure now.

No thank. Neil is grossly over paid. He's as rough as stone, but that also explains his hands, both shooting and punching.
