Just to keep everyone in the know, the Wings and Griffins have extended Amatuer Try-Outs to a handful of our prospects. All should be familiar names: Oulette Sproul Almqvist Sheahan Griffin games are getting even more exciting now. Sheahan has looked awesome thus far, so I recommend everyone to catch a game or two before seasons end.

I feel bad for Smith. Guys have done far worse or equal this season and have gotten off lightly. You'd think with the soft Shanabans following the Smith hit, Quincey would get off with a scolding.

If Babcock didn't play Hudler on the point, he would garner more fan appreciation. He was god awful last year and this year he has been an asset instead of a liability. I don't know if I would want him back next year, but for the right price I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Our defense looked great and we generated loads of offensive chances. On a different day we convert those chances and win 5-1 instead of 2-1 (SO).

Penguins lost twice In a row to the islanders just now with Crosby. Their fighters and goons really made a difference that game too.

Neg me all you want, but it's true. A benched Stuart for the first would mean the game would be 1-0 Wings right now. Bert seems to be in beast mode. Franzen in couch potato mode. Was that Stuart with another turnover?
