What if you trip someone and he falls and cuts his lips on the ice. Should that also be a double minor? OR what if you hook someone and he hits something and busts his face open, should that be a double minor? If you start giving out double minors for blood, then all the current penalties should be re-worked. The boarding on Helm should have resulted in a major penalty. Nothing more.

Boarding is either a minor or major. If the ref deems it a major AND there is an injury, a Game Misconduct is automatically given. Helm wasn't injured, he was just cut.

USA looking very good against Finland thus far. Callahan and Pulu haven't been noticeable thus far. Pulu is #6. He's playing the point on the PP unit and has an amazing clap bomb. He took a rip from the point right away.

Alright LGW faithful. I'm turning my attention to USA vs Finland WJC game. I'll keep you updated on that game while chiming in here once in a while about th Wings game. Sweden won today 7-1. The Iron Hook line struggled big time in the that game, though. No points for CJ. Pulu is the first line right wing for the Finland team and Callahan is the 13th forward for USA.
